I've heard that the Seraklanites have some way of lyin under truthtell. It were an Elf called Tìr who mentioned they knew of one doin it recent like, backed up by confirmation from Ashley Pugh. The miracle of discern faith does seem ter force the real answer out of them.

Yeah the last lot we cam across I called out, but admitted we couldn’t prove it. So just let em go, then they didn’t show up to get discerned later. I guess just be cautious about anyone claiming to be religious in the road (unless sidhaen).

It’s kinda nice the lying bastards are just off asking for stories though, instead of shoving a knife deep in your back. Though their probably trying to locate a story that’ll lead them to some epic religious power or artefact that’ll give their lord an edge over the other gods. Just a thought, cus sereklanites don’t do stuff for no reason.

Oh today a Vleyborian asked us to tell interesting tales. I told her about my cow buying mission to Mithim. Also she got stabbed up the meanest for carrying my stolen dagger. I admit I made a mistake the cows were camels. Oops! Also she was a thieving Seraklanite. Person who stabbed her up and got back my dagger is a true follower of The Seven. Probably not a good idea to murderise peeps we're suspicious of but this time was true.

Oh yeah so Seraklanites masquerading in Esca asking adventurers to blow their own trumpet.

So may be we should grab one of these sereklanites and ask them why they're asking for stories....then kill them....a lot....then double check.

Perhaps are gathering tales to better masquerade as bards and entertainers to gain access to noble households and feasts as myself and my fellow Boars enjoy bardic entertainment. Other than inviting grey knights to every gathering, which is an option, I will now listen for stories about buyng cows n Mithim.

I may also subtly rework a few tales to feed these faux troubadours.

I suggest we familiarise ourselves with the sins and strictures of the Seven. In this manner a Sereklanite may be identified simply by the errors they make. This is not foolproof but at least should aid in identifying those we encounter when a Sidhean able to discern anothers faith is not present.

Be careful with that line of action Errant, some people don't take well being baited into sin and will know their oaths. For example, I have seen a Vleyborian handed a weapon to hold to check if they're Sereklanite, it is not a sin for them to do so. Likewise, I may hold a nonlethal weapon, just not swing it

To my knowledge, Sereklanites are taught to deceive to survive and the only time they will tell the truth is when asked their faith by Sidhe's divine power as even he dare not disrespect his father. The only way I really know of to find a Sereklanite is to check them for multiple holy symbols, more than two will means they will be Sereklanite.

A knowledge of holy days specific to each church of light may be a more acceptable method of discerning possible fraudsters.
