Prayers and Benedictions for the travelling priest who wishes to deliver worship to the glorious lady Crowa

Benediction

THE grace of her hand, and the love of the lady Crowa, be with us all evermore.

After Sermon

GRANT, we beseech thee, Almighty Crowa, that the words which we have heard this day with our outward ears, may, through thy grace, be so grafted inwardly in our hearts, that they may bring forth in us the fruit of good living, to the honour and praise of thy Name.

Prayer for the Warwick household

Wonderous Crowa, I your humble servant do beseech your applicance to these words. I come to you not as a strong member of my house but as a simple servant of you in your might.

Lady of battles most glorious watch over the house of warwick, protect and guide us in all our endeavours, and in payment to your glorious benedictions we swear before you to apply your laws unto our every action.

We swear also that we shall be bold and noble in your name and that we shall endeavour with all our strength to protect those who cannot do so for themselves.

For what is ours is also yours, as we grow so do you, and as we shrivel so doth your glowing light.

Thanksgiving

Almighty Crowa, we, thine unworthy servants do give thee most humble and hearty thanks for all thy goodness and loving-kindness to us and to all men. We bless thee for our preservation, and all the blessings of this life, but above all for thine inestimable love in the redemption of the world by your blessed hand; for the means of grace and for the hope of glory. And we beseech thee give us that due sense of all thy mercies that our hearts may be unendingly thankful and that we may show forth thy praise not only with our lips but in our lives; by giving up ourselves to thy service, and by walking before thee in bravery and righteousness all our days.

For someone without faith

Lady Crowa, before you stands many who have not yet seen the wonder of your might, may they look upon your brothers and sisters and understand the errors of their lives hence.

May they cast themselves wholly at your feet and offer heartfelt worship that they may live evermore at your side.

For you are the benefactor of all those who face peril, you are the bringer of saviours, the patron of heroes and the guardian of those lost.

We your servants understand the need to spread your light and your most holy word, may your divinity shine brightly throughout the lands, and may the lost come to it and bask in its brilliance.

Prayer for those exposed to Danger

ALMIGHTY Crowa, the Saviour of all men and women folk alike, we humbly commend to thy tender care and sure protection, these thy servants who have come forth at the call of their land and country, to defend its rule and to protect its people in their property and homes. Let thy motherly hand, we beseech thee, be over us; let thy most Holy Spirit be with us; let thy good Archons have charge of us; with thy loving kindness defend us as with a shield, and either bring us out of our peril in safety, with a heart to show forth thy praises for ever, or else sustain us with that glorious hope, by which alone thy servants can have victory in suffering and death.

For those whose souls are in peril

Brave and wondrous crowa, in your beneficence look upon those here whose souls are lost and tattered, take pity on these poor wretches and reach out to them in ways us mortals cannot.

Let thy holy spirit wash over them and this place and may they be cleansed so that they may take their rightful place besides you in the hall of spirits. As we show mercies unto their deathly forms, so we beg you show mercy unto that of us all that is everlasting.

May the force of spite which has placed them in such peril be cast down by you light, and may we be evermore bathed in such.

Before a Battle

O MOST powerful and glorious lady Crowa, our guiding hand, that rulest and commmandest all thing brave and noble; thou sittest in your throne judging right: And therefore we make our address to thy Divine Majesty,in this our necessity, that thou would take our cause into thine own hand, and judge between us and our enemies. Stir up thy strength, lady of battle, come and help us; for thou givest not the battle to the strong, but canst save by many or by few.

O let not our sins now cry against us for vengeance; but hear us thy poor servants begging mercy, and imploring thy help, and that thou wouldst be a defence unto us against the face of the enemy. Bring unto us courage and bravery that with which we may serve you.

Funeral

ALMIGHTY Crowa, with whom do live the spirits of those who depart hence, and with whom the souls of the faithful, after they are delivered from the burden of the flesh, are in joy and fealty.

We give thee hearty thanks for the good examples of all those thy servants, who, having finished their course in faith, do now rest from their labours. And we beseech thee, that we, with all those who are departed in the true faith of thy holy Name, may have our perfect consummation and bliss, both in body and soul, in thy eternal and everlasting glory.

On Deliverance from Enemies

O ALMIGHTY Crowa, who art a strong tower of defence unto thy servants against the face of their enemies; We yield thee praise and thanksgiving for our deliverance from those great and apparent dangers wherewith we were compassed. We acknowledge it thy goodness that we were not delivered over as a prey unto them; beseeching thee still to continue such thy mercies towards us, that all the world may know that thou art our Saviour and mighty Deliverer.

For a Sick Person

Lady Vleybor mother of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need; Look down from the heavens, we humbly beseech thee, behold, visit, and relieve thy sick servant, for whom our prayers are desired. Look upon him with the eyes of thy mercy; comfort him with a sense of thy goodness; preserve him from the temptations of the enemy; give him patience under his affliction; and, in thy good time, restore him to health, and enable him to lead the residue of his life in thy awe, and to thy glory. Or else give him grace so to take thy visitation, that, after this painful life ended, he may dwell with thee in life everlasting.

Praises unto you

For Direction

DIRECT us, O Lady Crowa, in this doing, with thy most gracious favour, and further us with thy continual help; that in all our works begun, continued, and ended in thee, we may glorify thy holy Name, and finally, by thy mercy, obtain everlasting life.

Absolution

May almighty Crowa, who of her great mercy hath promised forgiveness of sins to all those who, with hearty repentance and true faith, turn unto her; Have mercy upon you; pardon and deliver you from all your sins; confirm and strengthen you in all goodness; and bring you to everlasting glory by her side.

Confession

ALMIGHTY and most merciful Lady; We have erred, and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against thy holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; And we have done those things which we ought not to have done; And there is no health in us. But thou mighty lady have mercy upon us, miserable offenders.

Spare thou those, Lady Crowa, who confess their faults. Restore thou those who are penitent; That we may hereafter live a righteous, and graceful life, To the glory of thy holy Name.
