So can a Word choke 2 people at once because it knows some fizzy trick or is it due to the Elderkin being there?

If we kill or send away the Elderkin can the Word only choke one person at a time?

I know we have other concerns but this had been bothering me.

It can just do that, no help needed from lowly mortal creatures. It has two hands, it uses both of them to Choke. Usual "block line of sight" procedure needed.

Just remember with the Words that their eyes are like 8 foot up and you need to reach up accordingly. I find a shield is useful for that
