I believe it was around 8 dismisses from my count. They can be of any faith but you must have dealt with their corrupted Elderkin beforehand otherwise they simply return them to full power.

I also believe Ranger Hug is compiling most of the information, with assistance from others. Father Will was the first person to destroy a Word and it is thanks to him, his church, and the school of necromancy that we have been able to destroy the ones we have so far.

I may be wrong but pretty sure it was about 7 each but i was in battlefield mode when assisting with this. i have the number 14 for both Words in my head. That battle was hectic and a lot occurred. i will double check and confirm

I totally missed fizzy's comment. Guess the magic is less accessible in the sticks where I am therefore not all notices are loading properly. My apologies.

I can add that dispell elderkin does not do anything to the Word's corrupted sidekicks sadly. Shame.

So on a good day, in theory, it can be dismissed by two full level priests once the Elderkin is out of the way - how do we tackle those?
Last time I faced a Word it had 5 or 6 dismisses on to it - to think we were so close! It's almost frustrating!
Much appreciation for the updates; it's a lot easier in conversation rather than scouring through hours of reports!

Ok, dumb question from me but:

If Valcorious (might be spelled wrong) the Word of Morotis formerly of Crowa, starts invoking that “their final battle” thing, if someone does a dismiss on it before it finishes, does that interrupt its’ *casting/calling/rite?

* I don’t know if this is a rite or a spell or what, but considering I have felt it and heard of it happening, we need a plan for if it does it again. Or was that Word one of the ones we got?

I don’t know what happened after he did it at Summer moot as I was bleeding.
