I expect better of an adventurer Brorgar, you know that. Given he saw one, interacted with it, and then still denies it's existance...

Also I am in no position to educate on the foulness of Shards and its residents.
Hang on mother militant of Kharach what do you mean you are in no position to educate folk on sharda.

Its your job isnt it to guard folk spiritually as well as physically against demonic wiles and such like as a soldier of the light churches.

I know priests give sermons and that but im pretty sure given your rank, seniority and faith you would be able to offer guidance and knowledge on sharda.

So do you choose not to or simply are unable to?

I'm right surprised to hear there was forces of the Archenemy in camp and we didn't fight them myself, Silas.

Hoping someone more in the know can explain the situation for me.

Had you tried violence against it then the entity in question would have vanished you off to somewhere quite unpleasant such as the planes of the dead.
He would have done so with less effort than it takes you to pick your nose, and he would have left you there.

I think i saw him do this to the Primate of Tralda, if only temporarily.

There are some fights that require significant preparation and a particularly opportune moment for there to be any chance of success.

I like these formaly known as The Badger Company lads. Top draw. Like those Charelcotte lads or however you spell it. Their a bunch of dicks too, but also not up their own arses either.

Merc's guild was going in the right direction if you ask me... and even if you didn't.

Sorry to ask your opinion on the situation but the adventurers present were they unable to do something about the demons presence, unwilling due to reserves they would expend or simply chose not to do anything about it?

I think that this comes down to the issue that Mother Bower was having.

The righteous affliction of faith doesn't give a lot of leeway in this regard.
She can tell you that they are dangerous, she can identfiy them as evil and explain that they have no place on our plane.

All of this is true.

But to some with a less fervent temperament there is still merit to watching and learning.

With the full resources of those in attendance there would have been a small possibility of successfully locking it in place and introducing it to oblivion.

More likely though it would have just been angered and driven off.

Either way the casualties would likely have been significant.

I'm not a Demonologists Jack but I have a theory on this.

It's a power play, the demon knew full well that it could appear and re-appear at will, my understanding of the situation was that even if all the faithful had drawn blessed weapons and beaten it back to Sharda it may well have just cracked it's joints and come back... possibly with friends.

However instead of being aggressive it arrived, it talked, it partook in a game, in front of everyone. It let everyone know that it can do this; that it can appear at will anywhere and could likely kill any of us where we stand or worse drag us off to Sharda.

The mini golf was just to amuse it, the threat it made by appearing is the point.

Thank you for your response i now understand the true danger of the creature and peoples reluctance to fet stuck in.

The comment on the Mother Militant however makes no sense to me, the faithful educate on the matters of religion and the sevens enemies from sharda. To state they cannot do this is a nonsense in my mind.
