Anyhow, I imagine this is a pointless chatter now. What's done is done. We will all elect to act how our conscience dictates in such circumstances.

Again I'll ask those better versed in the demon. Was this one in the compound immune to enchanted weapons? Could it be struck infinitely with no effect?
Forgemaster sir
Whilst not a Demonologists my understanding was that this demon was certainly not immune to enchanted weapons and could be sent back to Sharda.
However it did not walk into camp, nor was it summoned it had brought itself from Sharda, and therefore sending it back whilst satisfying would have just meant it would return to us shortly after... I suspect it could have kept that up but I don't know for how long.

I hope this explanation helps

Probably not Archmage. Attacking with the intent to destroy something is different to antagonising something you know, from experience, you cannot harm.

Forgemaster Sir,

To answer your question, this particular demon would not have been immune to enchanted weapons, and would have been sent to Sharda, however, it would merely have been inconvenienced, and should it have chosen to, depending on certain limitors due to the Pact, could have just repeatedly returned as many times as it was sent back.

The only way to have stoped it would have been to strike a fatal blow to it in sharda, or for it to have been bound to the plane through magic and then struck a fatal blow. It would have depended on a demonologist with knowledge of the spell having had it written up, as it is a taxing spell in terms of dedicated soulfire. Add to that knowledge of it is restricted by the Undercouncil, so indo not know if those present would have knowledge of the spell.

I hope that helps,

Thank you Baronet. It does.

Did your school find out why it chose to visit?

Every one in the camp could have been sent anywhere but for one. if it felt like it but thankfully it just wanted to know what the game was with the balls and portals and how to play

It also mentioned that it could move the entire plane if it wanted to get the ball in the hole

It also started that it was not there to make deals but would do if the members of Badger company wanted to after he said what are the stakes

The spell in question as well takes time to cast due to it being a ritual so it would have been very difficult to cast it on this demon as well

So Master Malcador, had it been attacked and even if we forced it back to Sharda, it could immediately return and send everybody in the camp, including the Archduke and the delegates anywhere? To sharda or the bottom of the ocean or even above a volcano or somewhere of equal peril?

If that is the case, then Master Mara, yourself and your entire School have my thanks. And I'm sure the thanks of everybody present that evening.
