Craters

Post by Colfer » 07 Sep 2019, 21:25

Hello one and all.

I heard that there was a crater at the past Summer moot? I've also come across another crater while in the Brisel area.

Are there any reports of other craters in our fair lands? Just seems an odd occurrence, I've also spoken to a Forester because logic would say if something created such an impact there should be something that caused it, but nothing was to be found so perhaps some enterprising person has carted it off.

Perhaps it is a coincidence? But thought best to ask.

Thank for for reading, and entertaining my inquiry.

I was present at the one found on an outing from the summer moot. I believe we used the portal to go to somewhere near Esca, but may be wrong on this.
The one we found had a large amount of foulspawn gathering towards it.

The one in brisel had something removed, someone's seemed to have got in there super quick and carted it away.
Hope that helps

It does indeed Adam, thank you.

Just something about it is tickling in my brain. It was interesting in its own way.

Perhaps I'm over thinking it, but rather be told it is nothing, then potentially it being something that needs to be looked into.

We founds a big crater in the ground over Medehamstede way too. Our scout, Mr Ranger Rolin said some folks wearing boots had taken something out of the crater and done buggered off with it. Sadly they had buggered off in a different direction to the one we was following so we couldn't investimigate it any further.

Could this be something to do with the Rock that fell from the sky in Kirkleigh?

Its seems that there is somethings falling from the sky. They enhance the area they land in, changing the land to be alchemical productive. The longer term consequences are unknown as yet and are being investigated.

By the sounds of things the one the guild investigated it attracted green skins to the site post landing due to certain properties of alchemy. However before hand a set of humanoid (best description we could get) were in the area. The rock taken away had its tracked covered up, so some people with skill had take the rock at kirkleigh.

My advice would be if you come across this site have an alchemist look at it. If you dont have one be very careful. As these site may contain some really nasty stuff.

The taking of ball of whatever it is that has come from the sky I would suggest maybe speaking to the land owner to report it to the guards and foresters. So that chasing down who took it is covered under the law. As yet all we have determined is that this is alchemical in nature.

The crater in Brisel was also magical in nature. Both myself and Master Reed have taken samples of the dirt. No I'll effect in this one.

There was another one near fernham today, it was apparently magical and alchemical again. Some one got in there early and nobbled off with what ever it was. They seemed to have deliberately taken a route to cover their tracks.
