Captain Brorgar needs a Medal.

Post by Sir Rex Manning » 04 Nov 2019, 14:22

On an outing yesterday while looking for one of those rocks that fell from the sky, we came across that stupid looking, golf playing, portal demon. After the Demonologist Malcador had a chat with it, myself and Captain Brorgar wandered over to save the poor lad.

Anyway, Captain Brorgar, the god fearing dwarf that he is, chopped it up a good un.

After all the "don't kill it" and "It will just teleport us all to a horrible place" worries, with great disregard for his own life and a shout of "Fuckity Bye" it popped out of existence at the end of a blessed sword.

Nowts happened, the worlds not ended, no ones body parts have been sent to different planes.

So for pure, balls out, bravery, I think Captain Brorgar deserves a Medal.

To be fair Barney, I'd say he far more deserves a medal, or at least some recognition from his Guild for the stalwart defence he put up against the demonic horde that assaulted us....

Definitely Captain Brorgar at one point was even fighting a demon and several dark elves with one of his arms bleeding out, if not for his bravery and selflessness people would have died that I can assure you.

Might I inquire as to how many blows were dealt before it quit our plane?

I was up the hill a wee bit, but I'd guess three, maybe four good smacks seemed to do for it.

Having spent two recent adventures in the company of Captain Brorgar, I can agree wholeheartedly with these statements.
He is fearless in the face of every enemy. We were attacked, by surprise, by some giant poisonous spiders recently, and he didn't even flinch.
We were charged by demons and again he stood his ground and defended the party.
He is willing to stop and listen to the thoughts and advice of other adventurers, but doesn't hesitate to act when needed.
He might be brash and crude at times but he is an asset to his guild and his faith.
