A note regarding Cora the halfling priestess of Longstor

Post by Mike P BL8 » 22 Sep 2019, 10:25

Good day, yesterday i travelled Mithim via norham gate with many noble adventurers however one stood out as especially worthy of mention.

Cora was not only pleasant company but her devotion to her faith, generousity of both spirit and posessions, bravery and wit made her a stunning example of what it means to be priest.

I hope her primate sees this and is proud of having her amongst the faithful.

I've met Cora, last week in Medhampstede! She's a lovely priestess, always smiling and full o' beans!

A shining example of what being a priestess is.

Adding to this, I have never seen anyone rush a nightmare quite like her, full of her faith and hatred for undeath that rivals my own the vile corruptions stood no chance.

I've also not known anyone with sense shout at me quite like her if I'm honest, shocked me slightly - not enough for me not to respond in kind but you know.

And this is one hiring, this is without mentioning her overall devotion to her faith, the light she brings with her in that faith and her overall outlook. Frankly, I'd love to sit in on one of her sermons, but being a "big" makes getting in some of the halflings places a little hard.

She's definitely a credit to the Church of Longstor, and I can't wait to see what achievements she will accomplish in her time with us. I just hope she doesn't become as jaded as I.

Thanking you all!

I'm not sure where this praise is coming from, I also don't know whether I is fully deserving of such praise. I am only of Sister Rank within my faith and although I am aspiring to be High Mother one day, that day is not yet and I am still to prove a lot of myself. I act on kindness and a willingness to learn, no matter what you are always learning and from that, I wish to better myself and the people around me.

I apologise Mother Militant Anna but you were quite assertive and I just wanted to be heard, sometimes bigs overlook us halflings and if I wish to help I shall help.

Your praise is encouraging and I am grateful to hear it! Nice to know I am doing well in some ways. I look forward to meeting you all again and learning much more from each of you.

Thank you all so much!

There are more adventurers that need praise, not just me! You Mr Silas are a wonderful and loyal fighter with a good heart. Miss Anna, you have your head very tightly screwed on and are an excellent Military commander and fighter, Mr Fish you're so brave and willing to get stuck in! There are many more like Lady Juilia, Mr Wisty, Mr Ivan and so many others it feels odd to single me out without mentioning the rest!

However, I will thank you again for the praise received.

But surely if you're a bigger adventurer, you're better and more well known for it as you'll have learnt lots more.
