Primate of Fygol

Post by Caliban »

Good afternoon

After today's jaunt into Medehampstead, we suspect the Primate of Fygol is operating in the region.

They sent a contingency of Heretics to the town of Dawnsmere to put it to the torch, as they discovered Morotisians dwelling there. There was one survivor, the Head of the Guards office who's name escapes me, but many of those burned in the raid were turned to ashen undead.

The Chosen of Fygol seems to have been granted a boon either by Fygol herself or the "Golden", as his weapon was able to rust metal. Thankfully he and the other Fygolians were defeated, and a Gremlin Deathslept for further questions.

Both Shrines in town were wrecked and stripped of their relics, though we recovered the Relic of the Rolborian Shrine. It was discovered that the Priest attending it had fallen to Morotis either after death or shortly before.

Primate of Bequeifis and Fygol both in Meadhampsteade, this is worrying.

Should there be an effort to track down the Traldan relic I'd be happy to lend my expertise, I'll be back in the area soon.

Following on from this, as I had forgotten to mention

Certain circles might be interested to know that, Primate of Fygol or otherwise, the one who organised this attack was after Brecht's Burning Brand. They will apparently continue to attack shrines and strip them of their relics until they get it.

Make of that what you will.

I've seen a former Primate of Fygol, wearing her Hand, take relics from shrines without so much as a breath of wind as disturbance.
When I prayed on it I saw the Golden Dwarf as he was at the time be struck by fatal lightening from the Gods only for it to wash over him by Her intervention, enabled by the Hand.

I hope this information is of use to you.

What is Brecht's Burning Brand? Is it known why the Fygolians want it?

Apparently a Relic of great value to the Church of Fygol, certainly to the sect we encountered over the weekend.
